The Wildest Culinary Celebration in Town

Over a thousand guests enjoyed a beautiful spring evening at The National Zoo sampling delicious fare from than 100 of DC’s best restaurants including Michel Richard’s Central, Georgetown newcomer Morso and Morton’s Steakhouse at Zoofari, 2010, A Panda Bear Affair on Thursday evening. The evening was also highlighted by Food Network celebrity Duff Goldman, star of Ace of Cakes who judged teams of local pastry chef who created zoo-themed cakes.

Over 15 vintners and a variety of genres of live music had attendees supping, sipping and swaying under the stars. One of DC’s ‘wildest’ food parties, this year’s event raised funds to support the Zoo's science and research work with Giant Pandas.
