“We’re super thrilled to be a part of Georgetown." Greeting us at the door Sunday evening, Amanda Hagerman beamed as she welcomed 'Friends and Family' into her newly opened Georgetown atelier.
For this former high school art teacher with a BFA in fine metals, her passion for luxury jewelry design has found a home.
In 2016, with her husband Adam, she travelled across the Mid-Atlantic doing juried and fine arts crafts shows. "Needing some roots, we decided Georgetown was the best place for us and we were fortunate enough to find this spot."
In her workshop right behind the showroom, the designer uses old-world techniques to create luxury jewelry inspired by nature with ethically sourced gems, most from misfit, vintage or reclaimed diamonds.
Amanda Hagerman Jewelry is located at 3259 Prospect Street in Georgetown.
