Volta Park Field Day & Cocktail Party
You're invited!
Join Friends of Volta Park and neighbors on June 7th for a day of celebrations. The fun begins with Field Day, a free event that is open to all ages. Then continue the celebration into the evening with their Annual Cocktail Party and Auction.

Field Day in Volta Park:
10 to 10:30 AM - Dog Parade
Have your furry friends strut their stuff for all to admire. Prizes for ‘best dressed’, ‘best groomed’, ‘best skill/trick’ and ‘fan favorite’.
10:30 to 11:30 AM - Field Games
Challenge friends, family or strangers to a race! Three-legged or wheel barrel or potato-spoon or sack race. A little group competition? Try the tug-of-war! Maybe test your aim at the dunk-tank or corn hole!
12 PM - Community Kickball
Kick a ball and run the bases around Volta! No experience necessary
In addition to games, there will be tables for community members to bring any crafts or baked goods to sell. Used books and Volta Park merchandise will also be on sale. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and stay a while!
