Upcoming Changes to Metro's Bus Network
It's complicated.
Metro will launch its new bus network effective June 29, 2025. All Metrobus routes and schedules will change. This is the first major overhaul in 50 years.
Look for new names for existing routes and new routes.
The C91 bus route, known as Georgetown-LeDroit Park includes Foggy Bottom, M Street, and Canal Road. The C91 largely replicates the former G2 route, but with a more circuitous path on the eastern end. It will primarily travel on Q Street. Georgetown's D2 route will be called D96 and travel from Bethesda to Foggy Bottom.
