Summer dress not right for state dinner

In this morning's Washington Post, Anna Wintour looks nice in her daytime Chanel dress, suitable for a ladies luncheon or a large afternoon reception. However, it was highly inappropriate for a State Dinner at the White House, as she should know as the Editor of Vogue. Yes, we may not always dress to please Robin Givhan, and underdressed is better than overdressed, but courtesy should have clothed her in an evening gown for this special occasion. Frida Burling
