Farzana Alam and Oksana Thornton talked about starting their own optical shop someday. When they were told by a dear friend that Virginia Burton who owned Burton Optician was ready to retire, they knew it was meant to be.
At 3252 Prospect Street in Georgetown, it's now trendy eyewear boutique Prospect Optika.
Serving up more than perfect vision, the cozy shop has a small library with rare finds and a tiny record collection to help you relax and unwind while you await service.
