Inspired by his innate optimism and what he believed was an opportunity in the market, Sacher established the Paul Fredrick brand in 1986, selling direct to consumer through 2”x 2” ads in the Wall Street Journal and a mail order catalog.
The dress shirt business was good, growing as the company focused on quality and customer service.
