The Panetonne Has Arrived!

As Georgetown experienced its first snowfall of the season, Team Via Umbria was busy unloading the truck with Italian holiday treats. Starting with many varieties of Panettone, the traditional Italian sweet bread, vanilla flavored with candied fruit, the shipment includes almond, coffee, cherry, prosecco, without candied fruit, and gluten free flavors, all wrapped in exquisite packaging. Even an ornament-sized mini to hang from the tree!

Along with the Panettone, came another traditional Italian holiday treat, Pandoro.

Also on the truck, chocolates from Italy, packaged in the style of turn-of-the-century grand pastry shops. In a wide variety, including dark chocolate, white chocolate, and with hazelnut, almond, pistachio, and nougat.
