Our Town Podcast Series Launches at Tony and Joe's

After four months in production and over 34 interviews ready for release, Best Bark Communications and host of OUR TOWN, Andy Ockershausen kicked off the podcast series on Wednesday evening at Tony and Joe’s Seafood at Washington Harbour with over 100 guests in attendance. Those who came out for the launch included: Sonny Jurgensen, Mark Russell, Tommy McFly, Cary Hatch, Tim Brant, Cherrie Doggett, Mark Tuohey, WMAL’s Chris Plante, Bill Regardie, Wendy Rieger, Bob Pincus, Harry Jaffe, Michael O’Harrro and more.

OUR TOWN is presented by Best Bark Communications and hosted by local Washington, DC personality Andy Ockershausen. A third generation Washingtonian, Andy grew up in broadcasting at the Evening Star Broadcast Group, WMAL and WMAL TV, Channel 50 and most recently Comcast/NBC Universal. Andy’s experience and leadership has given him the privilege to develop close relationships and conduct business with individuals including: US presidents, sports heroes, and influencers in the political, business and charitable communities.

OUR TOWN will feature a different personality each episode. Andy’s deep understanding and knowledge of the recent history of Washington, DC during the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90’s and his close relationships with the guests, bring a unique perspective to their story. Andy interviewed characters who have made an impact in the DC Metro for more than five decades.

Each podcast is a half hour. New episodes will be released on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.

Season One will feature more than 30 interviewees, the following is a sampling of the wide variety of influencers who have had a major impact on the Washington DC Metro:
