Oprah and Talbots Dress for Success
Talbots has partnered with O, The Oprah Magazine and designed an exclusive limited-edition 7-piece capsule collection to benefit Dress for Success. This unprecedented spring retail collaboration and national marketing campaign is for women, about women, supporting women and dressing women. The partnership supports Dress for Success, an international not-for profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
O Magazine’s first ever clothing line will hit Talbots stores nationwide beginning February 22nd thru April 3rd; it will be also be available online and in Missy, Petite and Woman (plus) sizes with a generous 30% of the net proceeds benefitting Dress for Success, a not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Last year Talbots raised $500,000 and collected over 4,000 boxes of clothing for DFS, and hope to double those efforts this year!
Save the date for the Spring Style Shopping Party at Talbots on Saturday, March 5th. Attendees will get spring styling tips and light refreshments. They will be able to shop new arrivals, including the exclusive O, The Oprah Magazine Collection for Talbots. This is a great day to bring in a nearly new wear-to-work item for donation to Dress for Success, and to enjoy 25% off their entire purchase (excluding O, The Oprah Magazine Collection for Talbots).
Monetary donations will be accepted February 22nd – April 3rd and nearly gently worn work attire may be donated March 3rd – March 6th at these local Talbots stores:
