The Oak Room and Bernadette’s Open in Georgetown
High-End American Grill and Candlelit Supper Club
The buzz and excitement continue.
With The Oak Room and Bernadette's opening last Thursday, Ten Five Hospitality and Chef Tim Hollingsworth (formerly of The French Laundry) have brought European private club glamour and refined classic American dining to Georgetown.
The space formerly occupied by El Centro at 1218 Wisconsin Avenue NW is now home to two much welcomed new venues offering something for everyone.

The Oak Room features a dramatic steak and seafood program, polished table side touches, a world-class wine list curated by Taylor Parsons, and interiors inspired by the private clubs of New York and London.

Upstairs, there’s Bernadette’s, a supper club that features live music, cocktails and late night dining in a richly textured plush velvet setting.

And in The Garden, The Oak Room’s seasonal outdoor bar, guests can mingle in the sun and under the stars. "There are few neighborhoods in America with the history and energy of Georgetown, and we couldn’t be more excited to open here,” says Dan Daley, Managing Partner of Ten Five Hospitality. “The Oak Room and Bernadette’s were designed as places guests return to again and again–for the food, the atmosphere, and the feeling of the rooms themselves. Tim is one of the country’s great chefs, and his presence elevates every part of the experience.”
