Marcus Johnson at Blues Alley

Marcus Johnson will be performing in Georgetown at Blues Alley Thursday, December 13 through sunday, December 16.

Releasing his 12th CD titled, “This is How I Rock”, in 2011, Johnson crosss into the pop/rock genre with a jazz spin, inspired by some of pop music’s most celebrated songs, songs that remained a significant influence in the life of the award-winning keyboardist, composer and producer.

Johnson has performed at clubs throughout the U.S. and has been a featured performer at many jazz festivals, including his hometown Capitol Jazz Festival, the Bermuda Jazz Festival, Atlantic Artscape, the Latin Meets Jazz Festival and the Huntington Beach Jazz Festival. Continuing to shine on the keys, behind the board, inside the boardroom, and within the community, Johnson is trly a young man on the move.
