Café Bonaparte, Napoleon Bistro & Malmaison will be offering a full weekend of french inspired events from Friday, July 12th to Sunday, July 14th in celebration of France’s National Holiday, Bastille Day.

Napoleon BistroAddress: 1847 Columbia Street NW Washington, DC 20009Date and Time : Saturday, June 13th, 2013 from 9 :00 PM to 11 :00 PMNapoleon Bistro will play host to a “Vive la France” party in the Champagne lounge. Guests who come from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM will be offered a complimentary glass of champagne. The DJ will be spinning French beats and select champagne cocktails will be half off. A French themed costume contest will be held and berets, black and white stripes and all manner of mustache are expected! A complimentary bottle of champagne will be awarded at 11:00 PM for the guest who most exemplifies all that makes the French say “ooh lala”!

MalmaisonAddress : 3401 K Street NW Washington, DC 20007Date and Time : Sunday, June 14th, 2013 from 2 :00 PM to 9 :00 PMMalmaison will play host to a Bastille Day extravaganza. Our café will be open featuring artisanal coffees, teas, juices and pastries. Free children’s face painting will be running from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A live crepe stand featuring sweet and savory crepes will be available. A Parisian Flair costume contest will be held and all manner of classy Parisian dress is welcomed! At 8:00 PM a dinner for two gift card ($50 value*) will be awarded for the guest who most exemplifies all that makes the French say “ooh lala”! At 4:00 PM Malmaison staff will participate in a Waiter Race to commemorate the storming of the Bastille Fortress Prison. The French National Anthem will be played throughout the day along with French themed décor to pay homage to France’s National Holiday.
