DC Jazzfest’s Jazz in the Hoods kicks off at Tudor Place June 10, 2015 at 6:00 pm (doors open 5:30) -- with a performance by the James King String Duo.

In its 199 years, safe to say, Tudor Place has hosted more chamber music than jazz, so the show augurs a fresh blend of DC cultural assets old and new. The audience likewise brings together diverse DC constituencies.
