Jay Leno – #winning!

Hanging out at the White House over the weekend probably startled some tourists, but drew some laughs. Hometown bank Capital One and The Kennedy Center who were honoring Jay Leno at the 2014 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on October 19th enlisted Jay’s former intern Ross Mathews (“Ross the Intern”) to take to the streets of Washington, DC to deliver laughs, celebrate comedy, and pay tribute to Jay.

Mathews didn’t jump the fence that we know of, nor was he arrested by The Secret Service for disturbing the peace. He was later seen on the Red Carpet with Leno.

Upon learning he would receive the Mark Twain Prize, Jay Leno remarked, “What an honor! I’m a big fan of Mark Twain’s. In fact, A Tale of Two Cities is one of my favorite books!”
