Janet Donovan's Hollywood on the Potomac: Nathans Reunion

Nathans hosted a reunion at George, including old friends and new of the venerable tavern. Ex-Nathans' owner Carol Joynt, once a producer for CNN's Larry King, inherited the former Georgetown landmark after her husband Howard Joynt died and left her in debt. It closed in July 2009. A year later, she invited friends such as AOL founder Jim Kimsey and Congressman Jim Moran to celebrate the memories. The Georgetown and journalist-heavy crowd included host Wyatt and Tandy Dickerson, Stephanie Green, Sally Hosta, Spencer Joynt, Jeff and Claire Harvey, Roby Penn, Mark Veevers-Carter, Adele Collier, Francsca Craig and Jerome Wiley Segovia.
