House of Sweden Hosts Georgetown Art Show

This President's Day weekend, check out Georgetown ARTS 2012, the third annual show of the Citizens Association of Georgetown (CAG). Local artists will be showcased at House of Sweden, starting Thursday, February 16 with an evening reception from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The show is free and will be open daily Friday through Monday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Participating artists Edward "Bear" Miller, Camilla Bozzoli and Robin Hill will offer demonstrations of portraiture, watercolor and oil painting during the weekend. Additional media on display include prints, sculpture and photography. Most work will be available for sale. House of Sweden, that gem of contemporary architecture on the Potomac, has been open since 2006 and is home to the Embassy of Sweden, Embassy of Iceland, 19 corporate offices and a commercial events center. House of Sweden is at 2900 K Street.
