Holiday shopping with Duke Ellington

The School Home Association of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts (S.H.A.D.E.) is hosting a Holiday Gift Bazaar and Art Show on Saturday December 10th. From 10:00 am-7:00 pm there will be raffles, a silent auction, and special appearances by Duke Ellington School of the Arts award winning departments. Attendees can expect unique home décor, natural bath and body products, local food vendors, jewelry, books, authors and much more. All proceeds will benefit the programs at Duke Ellington School of the Arts.

The Duke Ellington School of the Arts made its debut in 1968 as a workshop program for careers in the arts. The workshops grew to become an accredited four-year high school combining arts and academics, and now is home to over 500 artistically talented students from the Washington D.C. area.
