We left Sunday in wild weather after a beautiful week at Cheeca on the Florida Keys. Those of us who were returning to Key West, or to D.C., Santa Fe, or Santa Barbara had no problems. Dulles, renting a car, then driving to Brooklyn, arriving....was it three or four days later? The group with the longest flight, way down to Santiago, Chile, had their travel much easier than my grandkids who were just trying to reach New York! (The thirteen of our remaining family -- in Vermont, Boston and Dubai -- couldn't join us or there would have been 52 of us in all.) How fortunate and grateful I am for all of them...-- Frida Burling
