Georgetown War of 1812 Walking Tour Aug. 23rd

Join Georgetown War of 1812 Walking Tour Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 10:00 am to noon. Meet at Dumbarton House's East Garden at the corner of Q & 27th Streets for a special walking tour of historic Georgetown devoted to the events of the War of 1812.

Visit and view the areas of Georgetown that were part of the conflict, which finally established the United States as a country and not a just a former British Colony. The tour ends at the Francis Scott Key Park.

The ticket price includes a tour of the Dumbarton House. $15 per person.

The two hour tour starts at 10:00 am sharp, rain or shine.

Cash or check only (or prepaid). Three years and younger are free, must be in a stroller. No pets allowed. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. No reservation required (cash or check only at door), but pre-paid reservations recommended.
