Based on JoAnn's newest book DC Scavenger, this event combines the excitement of the Amazing Race with an exciting pursuit throughout Georgetown.
Teams will explore some of Georgetown's most cherished wonders and overlooked gems by deciphering clever clues and examining puzzling photos.

Meet at the Old Stone House - 3051 M St NW at 4:00 p.m. The hunt should take approximately 90 minutes and will end at a historic Georgetown tavern. Option to stay and celebrate with fellow participants. Food and drinks available for purchase at tavern.
Please arrive at the Old Stone at least 10 minutes ahead of the start time of the scavenger hunt. The hunt will proceed as planned rain or shine and we ask that you plan accordingly.
If the forecast calls for rain, please ensure you have an umbrella or rain cover. Feel free to bring water. If the forecast calls for extreme weather that can possibly endanger guests, you will be notified that the hunt is cancelled by the facilitators as soon as possible, and will receive a full refund.
