GBA and BID offer boot camp for business
The Georgetown Business Association (GBA) and the Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) are teaming up to offer a series of "boot camp briefings" for Georgetown businesses. The briefings will provide a collaborative educational and information exchange to assist in shaping and driving business decisions -- as well as building business-to-business relationships. Topics include tax law Implications for small business, social media strategies, DC nightlife issues, and the impact of health care reform on small business. On health care reform, the aim is to offer a greater understanding of an important and complex issue, and the pitfalls that lay ahead.
