Fairmont Hotel Holds Drive for Animal Rescue League

This September, Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is embracing local philanthropy projects as part of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Community Connections Month.

During the week of September 23 – 27, the hotel will be collecting items for the Washington Animal Rescue League, (WARL)*, in the Lobby from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily. Food, toys, blankets and monetary donations are appreciated. A complete list of needed items can be found on WARL’s wish list.

WARL will bring in some adorable dogs and cats that are available for adoption. Those who donate will be entered in a drawing to win an overnight stay, dinner for two, doggie afternoon tea or Sunday brunch for two.

*The mission of the Washington Animal Rescue League is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home animals that have nowhere else to go. We are committed to strengthening and preserving the human-animal bond by supporting animals in their homes through affordable veterinary care, community outreach, and education.
