Evans Supports Former Mayoral Rival Bowser

The rivalry of the April 1st Democratic mayoral primary was completely gone from the party room in the lower floor of the Old Ebbitt Grill on Thursday evening as the winner, Councilmember Muriel Bowser, was greeted warmly by her colleague and former rival, Councilmember Jack Evans. The fundraiser was organized by the prominent lawyer and sports fan Bill Hall who was joined by downtown activist Terry Lynch, Bill Jarvis, also an important member of the local bar, and Pat Allen, head of Ward 2 Democrats.
