Dumbarton Oaks Park Winter Clean Up

Please join friends of Dumbarton Oak Park tackle bush honeysuckles and vines on Saturday, January 11th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Please meet at the Lovers' Lane gate, near 3060 R Street in Georgetown at 10:00 for training. They will have tools, gloves, cookies and water.

This is a great way to work off all the fun foods over the last month and help the Park see see dayligh.t They will also be working on January 20th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for MLK Day.

The event will be cancelled for rain or snow. Please check Dumbarton Oaks Park and your email if you think the weather is iffy. The Park is looking fabulous. The photo above is from Spring 2011, and at right from this fall. What a difference every workday in the park makes- many thanks!!
