Definition Studio, an Istanbul - DC based Mediterranean lifestyle concept pop-up is now open at 1257 Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown. Shop their linen and cotton collection, or check out their vintage leather, jewelry, accessories, art and home goods.
The company produces collections that combine style and function while focusing on sustainable materials. Jewelry designer and self-proclaimed Mompreneur, Hatice Can Saglik founded the company while she was a student at the University of Maryland in 2006. As a jewelry designer, she loves creating fun pieces that will bring joy to those who wear them but also remind them of their connection and responsibility to our mother nature.
During the pandemic, Definition Studio collections expanded into vintage leather goods and sustainable linen/cotton apparel and home goods, mainly sourced from Hatice's hometown Istanbul for a seamless one stop shop experience.
Their goal is to educate consumers about the benefits of sustainable materials, chemical free dyes, and zero waste production. They make products from natural materials and textiles to help shift towards more sustainable living with a focus on the environment and people.
