Come In Your Scariest Outfits!

Boo! Attention ghosts & goblins: Join Friends of Mitchell Park on Sunday, October 26 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm for the annual Kalorama neighbood fall event with lots of stuff for you to do. Kids dress in your Halloween costumes and bring all of your family and friends.

There will be a moon bounce, a haunted house, live music, spin art machine, clown & acrobat, balloon art, face painting & hair braiding, community tables & bake sale, popcorn machine & hot dogs, and lots more.

The event is being underwritten by Jim Bell, founder and managing partner of Beasley Real Estate. Beasley staff will be passing out Halloween bags with candy. Bell will be grilling no less than 500 hot dogs.

The park was recently finished with renovations. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony in the park at 2 pm with Mayor Vincent Gray and D.C. park officials scheduled.

Now THAT could be scary.
