citizenM Coming to Georgetown
Georgetown waterfront property to be converted to hotel.
Georgetown is getting a new hotel at 3401-3403 Water Street (also known as K Street).
The Old Georgetown Board (OGB), an advisory board appointed by D.C.’s Commission of Fine Arts (CFA) to oversee the reviews of neighborhood projects in the historic district, has approved the design concept for citizenM Georgetown.
The Netherlands-based company has locations on three continents. This will be the third hotel in DC for the brand.
The 100-year-old waterfront property will be expanded, renovated and converted into a 230-room hotel.
