Become a Georgetown Ambassador

In Spring 2015 the Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) will open a Georgetown Visitor Center to welcome visitors and provide an overview/orientation to the neighborhood. Our goal is to ensure all visitors to Georgetown have the best possible experience by providing excellent customer service and insider knowledge. The Visitor Center will be located in the lobby of Georgetown Park, at the corner of M & Potomac Streets (across from Dean and DeLuca).

The Georgetown BID is currently seeking volunteers to serve as Neighborhood Ambassadors and staff the Visitor Center. Ambassadors provide exemplary customer service and enhance the visitor experience in Georgetown. They will greet visitors, answer questions, provide directions (walking, driving, and public transit), and offer suggestions for culture, recreation, shopping, and dining in Georgetown.
