Baby Lap Time at the Georgetown Library

Story time for ages birth-walking and their caregivers.

Bring the little ones to Baby Lap Time at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library. This story time will run weekly on Thursdays until July 21st in the lower level meeting room from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

A story time experience for the youngest library users and their caregivers. These 20-to-30-minute story times introduce books, songs, rhymes, tickles and bounces developmentally appropriate for children from birth to when they start walking.

Baby Lap Time is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the joys of reading in a positive and fun atmosphere. This story time is designed so the baby will be in their caregiver’s lap and the grownup is actively involved in the program; it is recommended that each child have their own adult with them.

There is no sign-up or pre-registration. However, space is limited, and they ask that older siblings stay at home for this program.

Georgetown Neighborhood Library is located at 3260 R Street NW.
