L2 was a gallery of portraits and video on Wednesday evening as photographers including Kipp Burgoyne and Vithaya Phongsavan displayed a collection of some of the area’s most beautiful faces and fashions—all for a very good cause.

In appreciation for their efforts on the runway as well as the photographers who immortalized the ‘models,’ Arts for Autism presented a display of photos and videos from their first annual Arts for Autism fashion and talent show which benefited the Autism Society of Northern Virginia (ASNV) and raised more than $57,000.

Arts for Autism is a runway show that celebrates children, adolescents, and adults with autism. Well-known D.C. ‘models’ serve as fundraisers and walk the runway accompanied by individuals with autism, with proceeds raised benefiting ASNV’s Intervention Assistance Fund. The second annual fall event will showcase the musical, poetic, artistic, and dancing abilities of the local autism community. This magical night will honor the impressive talents of individuals with magnificent minds. This unique fall program combines the nation’s capital cutting-edge high fashion, and recognizes the unique talents of the youth and adults who live with autism. The audience was enlightened to the importance of raising awareness and funding to aid families affected by autism.
