Seems like yesterday, but it was three years ago when the small plates modern Mexican restaurant, Bandolero opened its doors. "Top Chef" Mike Isabella left in 2013.

As reported in The Washington Post, "It's just like any other restaurant that comes to the end of its lease," owner Jonathan Umbel said. "We felt like it had a good run and we want to move on." Umbel also formally announced the closure of Tackle Box adjacent to Bandolero. The casual seafood joint quietly closed several months ago, he said."
