Washington is again a top online dating city, according to numbers from dating site Match.com.
The District came in at No. 5 among cities where singles are the most active in their search for romance, according to the Washington Business Journal. Match.com says more singles than ever used its site in what was the best summer ever in the company's 15-year history.
So that's what they meant by "recovery summer!"
Miami came in at No. 1 for online dating activity between June and August “with 33.5 percent more winks and emails compared to summer of 2009," followed by New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and D.C.
