Lolo Sarnoff Champions the Glover Bookstore

Independent bookstores are fighting for their lives.  On Sunday evening, the legendary Lolo Sarnoff, who founded Arts for the Aging 22 years ago, hosted a party to keep the doors open at Glover Bookstore next to Whole Foods in Glover Park (aka Upper Georgetown to real estate agents).  Owner Bruce Stein lamented that he is forced to solicit funds as he reaches out to new residents with changing tastes.
