On April 8, Bobbie Medlin opened the doors of per prime location boutique at 2900 M Street for a reception welcoming metal smith Sharlaine Anapu. She hailed the opportunity to collect the New Zealand born artist’s early work.”
Anapu works primarily in silver with delicate touches of gold. Her design concepts of organic shapes and natural forms are heavily influenced by Polynesian culture and her profound appreciation of nature.
Visitors to the gallery/boutique will be pleased to find more spirited paintings by artist Rose Lucchesi who Medlin recently hosted.
