Wild Women of Washington Lecture & Book Signing March 3

Come to Dumbarton House and join Canden Schwantes, author of Wild Women of Washington, D.C. for a lecture on her most recent book. The work, a “history of disorderly conduct”, highlights the unconventional and wild practices of the women of Washington, D.C.

The FREE lecture will take place on Thursday, March 3, at 6:30-8 p.m. and will be followed by a book signing. Copies of the book will available for purchase at the event.

This lecture will be held in the museum’s Belle Vue ballroom. Please enter into the ballroom through the lower terrace. Dumbarton House is handicapped accessible, and there is limited parking behind the garden at 27th & Q Streets, NW. Groups are welcome.
