Pinstripes Opens February 8

Combining bocce courts, bowling lanes, Italian/American cuisine, fine wines and live jazz music, Pinstripes will open at The Shops at Georgetown Parkp on Febrary 8, 2014. Pinstripes will occupy 34,000 square feet of first and second floor space.

This will be the fifth location for Pinstripes (with other current locations in Illinois and Minnesota), and its sixth and seventh locations expected to open in Kansas and Chicago later this year.

“The Shops at Georgetown Park is a first-class development well-suited for our sophisticated entertainment venue,”said Dale Schwartz, Pinstripes Founder/CEO. “We are excited to introduce our ‘strikingly good food and fun’ to the Washington, DC metro area.”

“We enthusiastically welcome Pinstripes to the Georgetown neighborhood,”said Bill Starrels, ANC2E Commissioner. “We are very pleased about Georgetown being the first expansion location for Pinstripes on the east coast, and we look forward to the opening in the very near future.”

Pinstripes will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, and is currently taking reservations for private events and parties.

In celebration of its opening, Pinstripes is sponsoring a Grand Opening Community Art Contest, with prizes for various age groups, and much of the artwork featured in the venue will be by local artists and young, inspiring artists-to-be. Extended deadline for submissions is February 3.
