The L’Enfant Society hosts several high-profile annual events culminating with the Ball on the Mall, held on the National Mall with the moonlight and the monuments as the backdrop to the evening’s festivities. The Ball on the Mall attracts more than 600 guests for an evening of dinner, dancing and socializing under the stars. Last year’s theme was Mexico. Aptly close to Cherry Blossom season, this year’s theme is Japan. .Since its inception, the Ball has generated more than $300,000 to benefit the Trust for the National Mall’s efforts to restore and improve our National Mall. This year’s event will be held on May 7th.
