Georgetown Presbyterian Church offers 9/11 service

The Georgetown Presbyterian Church welcomes neighbors to join a September 11 service of remembrance and reflection. All are invited to share in remembering the past ten years and looking forward to the future of America, the church, and the world.

Rev. Camille Cook will preach on “God’s Bricks, Our Mortar,” assisted by Military Chaplain Rev. Mark Worrell. The GPC Choir will present special music accompanied by a brass and percussion ensemble. All those who attend the service will receive a complimentary copy of Erik Kolbell’s book The God of Second Chances.

The service begins Sunday, Sept. 11 at 11:00 am. GPC is located at 3115 P St. For more information, call (202) 338-1644 or email info@gtownpres.org.
