Georgetown's AMC Loews theatre is evacuated Sunday night

AMC Loews Georgetown 14 movie theatres were evacuated Sunday night after a movie-goer yelled "fire" in the theatre, according to sources. Three people suffered minor injuries. Multiple fire and police vehicles were called to the K Street multiplex. ANC Commissioner Bill Starrels heard sirens and arrived at the scene within minutes. Calls to the D.C. Fire Department seeking further detail were not returned.

ANC Commissioner? Fantastic. I hope it wasn't a Georgetown Student or he might ban the entire Undergraduate Body from the movie theater...

no one yelled "fire." in the middle of the movie, someone yelled "everybody down" and "everybody out." i was there with a group of friends and no one heard "fire."
