Experience the sparkle of the season at Georgetown GLOW - the region's only curated outdoor exhibition of modern light art installations - set against the historic backdrop of D.C.'s oldest neighborhood. Stroll throughout Georgetown to see the work of local, regional and international artists in public and privately-owned spaces--including M Street, Washington Harbour, and more! The best thing? It's all FREE. Artworks will be lit nightly between 6:00-10:00 pm.PLUS, check out uniquely decorated windows as part of the 3rd annual Holiday Window Competition (voting on Facebook starts December 3--are you following Georgetown?), enjoy carolers, ice skating at the city’s largest outdoor ice rink at Washington Harbour, and much more. Many merchants and restaurants will be running promotions and perks-with-purchase throughout the weekend.Help GLOW shine by volunteering!
