Cherry Blossom Festival Inspired Italian Dinner Parties at Via Umbria

In honor of the Cherry Blossom Festival, Via Umbria is hosting a series of three Italian Dinner Parties: March 23rd through March 25th, with cherries infused into every dish. 

 

Grab a seat at Via Umbria's communal table in their Laboratorio Kitchen. There's a single fixed menu each night (with a vegetarian offering possible with advance request) and one seating at 7:00 pm.

 

Starting with Insalata di Mache e Ciliegie, followed by Goat Cheese stuffed Ravioli in a butter and sour cherry sauce, Pork Filet stuffed with Dried Cherries as the main, and topped off with Crostata con Ricotta e Ciliegie this dinner will be the perfect addition to your Cherry Blossom festivities.

 

All guests sit communally at one table. Each course is served at the same time and their Chef will join you at every course to describe what has been prepared and to answer any questions you may have. Pre-purchased tickets are required to join the dinner and can be purchased online (see below) or by calling 202.333.3904 or emailing feedme@viaumbria.com.

 

Tickets are not refundable and can’t be switched to a different date or time but they are transferable to other people. Italian Dinner Parties feature their CYOB concept - Choose Your Own Bottle - where you can purchase wine to accompany your dinner from our downstairs enoteca, affording you an incredible selection of hard-to-find Italian wines at retail prices.

 

If you plan to purchase wine please arrive early to allow enough time to speak with the sommelier and to fill your order, but in any event, please arrive a few minutes before the start time in order to assure timely seating. All guests planning to consume alcohol must have valid government-issued identification. Menus are subject to slight change due to market availability. Pricing does not include 10% DC meals tax or optional gratuity.
