Caroline Adams Paintings at Susan Calloway Fine Arts July 26-August 30

Fifty egg tempera paintings by Caroline Adams are being exhibited at Susan Calloway Fine Arts Gallery from July 26 through August 30.

A successful Kickstarter campaign funded Adams’ project to make 50 paintings in egg tempera, a medium that has been used for over a 1000 years. Adams has used this project as a way to fully explore the medium within her style of abstracted landscapes. Throughout the year, Caroline has documented her progress, her struggles and successes with the fifty paintings through her Kickstarter site, which you can view here.

The project culminated in an exhibition of the fifty small landscapes. Artist reception Friday, August 15 from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Susan Calloway Fine Arts Gallery is located at 1643 Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown.
