On Blair House's Diplomatic Table April 4

Blair House became The President’s Guest House in 1942 to “wage peace.” It hosts official visits of world leaders and special events for the diplomatic corps. Managed by the Department of State’s Office of the Chief of Protocol, its restored interiors and important cultural heritage collections create an elegant, comfortable, and secure setting for international diplomatic hospitality.

On April 4, 2018 starting at 6:30 pm, enjoy a lecture with curator Candace S. Shireman about Blair House’s intriguing history as a friendly home-away-from-home for its visitors from the days of presidents Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln to today.
