Washington Fine Properties (WFP) has listed Langdon Farm, an 18th century jewel on 153 acres (almost 3/4 mile of prime waterfront on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

The brick Colonial estate boasts over 10,000 square feet with 11 fireplaces, pool, poolhouse, cabana, garden house, barns, stables, manager's office, guest cottage, garage, & 280' deep-water dock. Dating back to a land patent of 1659, the property was once known as ‘Bridges Chance’ by its then owner, Daniel Lamdin.

The farm was later renamed Hebron, after the biblical city south of Jerusalem, by Lamdin’s daughters in the early 1800s.There are 24- to 38-inch deep Flemish bond walls that withstood a British fleet bombardment during the Revolutionary War and British occupation during the War of 1812. The 4’ wide herringbone walkway around the swimming pool is made of 18,000 original bricks removed from the steps of Philadelphia’s historic Constitution Hall. The property also has the largest collection of boxwoods in the United States and is recognized by the Smithsonian Institute.
