Meet at Dumbarton House (corner of Q & 27th Streets) on Saturday, April 9, 2011 for a special walking tour of Georgetown, circa 1810.
Dwane Starlin, member of the Guild of Professional Tour Guides, will lead a delightful meander through Georgetown's "East Village" streets, circa 1810, the way Joseph Nourse – first resident of Dumbarton House – would have viewed his neighborhood on the heights of Georgetown from his "Cedar Hill" (aka Dumbarton House) home.
It's an hour tour beginning at 10:30 am sharp. Rain or shine. Three years and younger are welcome but must be in a stroller. No pets allowed. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
