Tricking and Treating in Georgetown

A tradition since the 1970's, the Halloween pedestrian parade along Georgetown's sidewalks starts after 8:00 pm. Come to the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and M Street and walk around with hundreds of costumed adults for happy haunting.

If you want to show off your costumes, check out the Halloween Masquerade Party at Cafe Milano (3251 Prospect Street) where they're brewing spooktacular entertainment, devilishly delightful canapés and a hosted bar. Halloween chic attire: Cafe Milano's owner Franco Nuschese will give a prize to the wearer of the best mask of the evening.

And there's Nick's Annual Halloween Party (3050 K Street) starting at 9:00 pm. $10 cash cover at the door; best dressed costume contest.
