Georgetown celebrated its newest addition on Wednesday night with the much anticipated arrival of Brooks Brothers. Taking over the corner at 30th and M Street (formerly occupied by Smith and Hawken), the store originally planned to open in June, but was postponed for renovations ensuring that the grand opening was nothing short of perfect. The launch, put on with the Trust for the National Mall was just that.

The three-floor store has a classic old world feel reminiscent of a stately manor. The waiters circling the floor with cocktails and amazing appetizers by Design Cuisine added elegance to the tony club setting. Guests gathered at the pool table on the lower level and enjoyed late night cocktails off the patio.

Things we love: Shetland Houndstooth jacket with a pair of dark jeans and ballet flats that dress up any outfit without the hassle of heels.

Brooks Brothers is located at 3077 M Street.
