Docents Wanted at Dumbarton House

Do you have a passion for early American history, the decorative arts, architecture, or museums in general?

Dumbarton House is currently recruiting docents to volunteer in the visitor center and house museum. Lead tours, greet and assist visitors, collect admission fees and record gift shop sales. As a trained docent you will share Dumbarton House's Federal period history, enhance visitor's appreciation of early American history and inform and educate the public.
