Last Sunday, The Washington Post editorial board endorsed Mayor Adrian Fenty for re-election in the September Democratic primary against challenger Vincent Gray, D.C. Council Chair. At the same time, the Post asked readers for their opinions. As of August 3rd, Gray received 75% of the vote, compared with Fenty's 23%. Were readers voting on The Post's early, some say premature, edorsement, as well as the candidates?

Fenty came around my neighborhood & told lies & made false promises to get us to vote for him -I did & boy, do I regret being taken in by that smarmy cheat. I think Vince Gray has been a great Council Chair, so he's got my vote.
